MONTREAL, Canada, January 30, 2008 — Maximum Throughput Inc. (www.max-t.com), developers of ultra high performance software-based solutions for networked storage infrastructure and media management, announced today that ARRI, Inc. has certified its Sledgehammer system with their ARRISCAN film scanner. Sledgehammer is an extremely fast network-attached storage (NAS) device employed by post production houses and broadcasters to fulfill their high-speed online storage needs. The ARRISCAN is a high speed, high quality film scanning device, suitable for all applications including digital intermediates, visual effects, restoration and archiving. A dedicated Infiniband-based link provides the transfer pipe between the two systems.
