Montreal, CANADA September 8, 2006 - Maximum Throughput Inc. (www.max-t.com), developers of ultra high performance software-based solutions for networked storage infrastructure and media management, announced today that at IBC in Amsterdam, September 8-12 (stand # 7.630), the company will be showing industry first capabilities unique to its product lines. The industry firsts include the only simultaneous uncompressed dual stream play/record capability for disk-to-(same)disk color gradinga feature that allows a single Max-T Sledgehammer to be both the source and destination device for a color grading suite, effectively replacing two devices, and dramatically streamlining the entire process, while massively reducing overall costs. The company will also be demonstrating uncompressed 2K film playback over a 10GigE network, another first. All these capabilities, as well as the company’s MAXmedia software integration into the Sledgehammer NAS line, come with Sledgehammer v3 software which is now generally available. A section of the IBC booth will be dedicated to showing workflow solutions and the company will demonstrate how Max-T software solutions integrate whole facilities. Included will be an offline project transfer from an Apple Final Cut® Pro (FCP) system to an Autodesk® (Discreet) Smoke® finishing system. Max-T also announced that by working with its hardware supplying partners, the company is now shipping systems that are compliant against the European directive on the Restriction of certain Hazardous Substances (RoHS). In referring to the company presence at IBC, Giovanni Tagliamonti, Max-T’s CEO, had the following to say. “We’re extremely delighted to announce the availability of our V3 software. We showcased these capabilities earlier this year at NAB, and from the feedback that we received, we know that this release delivers very valuable workflow enhancements that dramatically improve our customer’s ability to deliver projects on time and on budget.”
