Partners with Maximum Throughput to Resell Sledgehammer NAS, SD!O, and
HD!O

LAS VEGAS, Nevada, NAB (Booth #SL5712) - April 18, 2005 - Autodesk, Inc. today announced that it has entered into a new distribution agreement with Maximum Throughput, Inc. (Max-T), a provider of high-performance networked area storage (NAS) and media management solutions. Under this agreement, Autodesk becomes a worldwide distributor for Max-T's Sledgehammer family of products. Max-T's NAS and media management solutions enable facilities with any system, running any operating system, to centralize the input and output of high-definition (HD) and standard-definition (SD) material. This "agnosticism" gives facilities greater flexibility in how they move data around, enabling more seamless, data-centric workflows across multiple applications and platforms. The distribution agreement builds on the success of Autodesk's current role as a North American reseller of Max-T technology. Both Sledgehammer SD!O and HD!O have a reference sync input, as well as support for embedded audio, AES/EBU audio, and LTC and VITC. Upgrades are available for customers who purchase the Sledgehammer without I/O to both the SD!O and the HD!O.
